Job/Grad school opportunitites after Fordham

A few questions for anyone who has graduated/knows Fordham grads, particularly from the honors program at Rose Hill-
Does being in the honors program carry weight when looking for a job or grad school placement? I know the educational opportunity is incredible, but I ask because I was accepted to the FCRH honors program and my dad frequently pressures me to switch to Gabelli because I will have better job prospects when I graduate. The starting salary for Gabelli graduates does seem to be considerably higher according to Fordham stats, more on par with what someone would need to make if they wished to continue living in New York. What have people's experiences been in a position like mine? aka grads of the FCRH honors program?

I was also accepted to Cornell CAS and Dartmouth, two excellent schools that have not been so kind to me financially as Fordham has (full tuition paid)

Being a liberal arts major with no clue as to what I'd like to do after graduation, grad school and law school is lingering at the back of my mind. How helpful would it be to attend Fordham undergrad with the hopes of a top tier grad/law school in the future?

I love Fordham, and everyone on this board has been so helpful to me, so thank you all in advance. I will be attending Fordham's Spring Preview to help me make The Decision.

Hi! I seem to be in the same boat as you, even though I’ve pretty much convinced my father that Fordham College and the Honors Program are more congenial to me than GSB. I was admitted to some top 15 LACs and universities, but the aid wasn’t kind and many either had more open curricula than Fordham or courses in my area of interest that seemed impractical (e.g., one course focusing only on queer theory in the works of one female author). As a prospective JD or English MA or PhD candidate, I think the strong foundation of the Honors core and the increasing quality of the English department (it hopped over 13 spots this year!) will help make my future clearer. Side-note: I was watching a lecture from Fordham today, and the lecturer remarked that Fordham College is one of the only colleges that has its students read difficult philosophy.
I also really like the study abroad opportunities, especially those at the University of London and the University of Oxford, and I’m sure the choices will not continue to increase.
Good luck on your decision, and perhaps I’ll see you at the open house.
