<p>Keep in mind that plans after graudation are not set in stone. hile so flock to to their friendly neighborhood IB in NYC, Chicago, etc, students work at non-profits, teach go to grad, school professional school etc. So the average salary is just what it is an average as they fluxuate with the job market and are dependent on what part of the country you live. If a person works in NYC at an IB with a starting salary of 75,000 and another works at a non profit for 30,000 and a third teaches for 30,000 then the average salary is $45,000. </p>
