Hi I'm an international student expecting to enter University of Calgary's undergrad engineering program. I hope to major in oil and gas engineering. After graduation I will receive a 3 year work permit to work in Canada. Thereafter I can apply for PR after gaining a year of job experience in Canada. Even while at University I will get an out-of-campus work permit which enables me to work full time thereby letting me take part in summer internships.
As an international student do you think I will have a good chance of gaining internships and thereafter permanent employment in Canada?
Will I face problems in finding internships and jobs, because I don't have the Canadian Citizenship or PR?
Is the 3 year work permit a good enough work authorization to find a good job in Alberta?

Thank You!
