<p>So I've been accepted to NYU Steinhardt thinking that I would major in something towards education. And thinking more closely about it now, I really do not want to be a teacher.
After looking at all of the majors for Steinhardt, I found the Communications & Media major. I'm not sure what you would study for this major. What is the job path after studying Communications and Media?</p>
<p>Anything. You could do:</p>
<ul>
<li>law</li>
<li>marketing</li>
<li>public relations</li>
<li>video games / film / television </li>
<li>new media </li>
<li>media research</li>
<li>political media (speech writing, etc)</li>
</ul>
<p>It’s basically a really flexible liberal arts degree. I’m going the PhD route.</p>
