For me, one of the most important things about a school is the ability to find a good job after graduation. If someone could share anything they know about this for Chapman, I would really appreciate it.

I know someone who graduated from Chapman - she had lots of internships and said her professor was very helpful. I applied to the school because of her positive remarks. She was an Econ Major and I’ll be majoring in Accounting so I hope I still have the same good experiences she did. She says she is still in touch with her professor and he invited her to return for her Masters with his “team.”
She also said that they encourage and give you the opportunity to take classes outside your major whereas UC’s can be more rigid, thereby making you more marketable supposedly. Yes, this is a good way to make tuition money but I do tend to agree with her as well.
Finally, she said that most of her friends were able to find jobs right out of school some I’m hopeful. To be honest, I’m not from CA and have no roots or desire to stay here, so when I think jobs and internships, I think nationally so I don’t limit my opportunities.

I’ve asked around about Chapman and most of the feedback has been negative ): – stereotypical rich white school with a small social scene and much too expensive tuition :/

Well, I’m 29 and go to Saddleback right now and the parking lot is filled with BMWs and Mercedes with drivers that can barely see above the steering wheel/don’t need to shave yet, so I guess two more years won’t kill me. Besides, you may end up working with them in a future so might as well get used to handling their personalities now. I don’t care about the social scene because I have my own friends. I’ll only be there to learn and network. Those kids will just make us look smarter right?
Yeah, it’s pricey but they have more access to professors and a bigger endowment. So with scholarships and financial aid, you might pay the same (or less if you’re lucky) for a “better” education. Either way, there’s always going to be stupid, stuck-up people. Trust me on that.
