Job Placement

With the budget shortfalls and the unemployment rate (including those that have given up looking for jobs), are SLO kids having a hard time finding a job if they’re graduating out of a top major? (like Engineering)

Just wanted to know.

im not sure about everyone, but i talked to a guy who is graduating this year and he did the 4+1 program and so he graduates with a Masters degree in electrical engineering and he was recruited for a job with Ratheon and is starting with a salary of $80,000 a year
