Anyone knows about systems engineering degree that SEAS offer? what is the job aspect for this major? where do most systems engineering grad end up at? Do employers like Lockheed, Boeing etc come to Philly looking for systems engineers? How about the finance sector?

Any comments are greatly appreciated!

There's a good chance you can end up in a computer field - systems majors have lots of programming experience, and there is always demand for programmers. Lockheed recruits a lot at Penn, along with Cisco.

Of course, so many Penn grads go to Wall st. that you'll probably end up there too. Systems engineers find that they don't have the programming skills that CS grads do, or the EE skills that EE grads do, so the fit with finance is normal. And of course there's always consulting.

If you think you're into finance, I guess it's a fine major (but finance or econ would be better). If you think you're into EE stuff, do EE. Consider CS or EE - you'll find them to be better majors for anything technical.
