I was wondering if I am interested in business, should I major in econ? The two schools I got into are UCI and UCSB for biz econ. Are they worth pursuing? Or do econ degrees from low-tier UC's lead to no where? Has anyone graduated from UCI or UCSB and regretted it? Or has everyone been successful in find a job?

People who major in economics often have a minor or enter a double major/joint program. A lot of successful economic majors also come out with a computer science or math major/minor. If you are interested in solely economics, then go for it. Otherwise i recommend you study and major in Finance/accounting which allows for a broader job prospect
