i just got denied from los angeles comm this mroning.

i was wondering how ucsd and uci rank in terms of business or marketing. not comparatively to other uc's, but nationally.

i ruapplied to sd as a communications major, but i hear their comm department is very theory based and places no particular emphasis on buisness/ media marketing or things of that nature. is this true?

also, in terms of job finding. which school have you guys heard about being a better school as far as median salary after graduation. i know there's also a difference in the how the job market views uc schools in the east coast and west coast. information on that would be nice to know too.

i have heard that ucsd is not very conducive to student itneraction, so networking wouldn't be so great there. uci seems a bit better for networking, but if there are going to be fewer people working at higher salry jobs, than networkign there wouldn't be as oppurtune. what do you guys think?

sorry. i know this might come off a little haughty, but i think these are important questions.
