I'm trying to manage club lacrosse, tutoring math 15hrs week at a local elementary school, managing my cookie company, and 14 credit hours. This all being during my freshman year. Am I going overboard?

i dont think so, but i dont know for sure since im not in college yet. How much work is involved in managing the cookie thing and lacrosse?

You are only MANAGING lacrosse??? It shouldn't be hard at all. If you were actually PLAYING lacrosse, I could see it being a problem due to fatigue, but managing is no sweat.

uh, i read it as kinglin is trying to manage playing club lacrosse, tutoring math, a cookie company, and 14 credit hours... not actually managing lacrosse. (unless I read it wrong)

Playing Lacrosse.

that's what happens when you assume...you make an ass out of yourself

and to OP...that looks good to me...if you're thinking of transfering i suppose the ECs will be useful

Ah, I'm doing the same thing...Club lacrosse, job, and try to keep my grades up. Whatever happens, happens...I did it in high school, except I worked more in high school, and I'll have to study more in college

Prioritize.. Which thing can you reduce if pressed for time?

You can handle the work load, just make sure you stay on task.

I personally found that when pressed with alot of stuff to do, I did better as I was able to focus better and shut out distractions.

coughs Sophmore/Junior here. Would like to add please. Thank you.

You MAY want to cut back on something a little bit. Maybe only 10 hrs tutoring? I'm only saying this because academics will take up more time than you think they will. Unless you're taking all easy classes (extremely unlikely), plan to spend between 1/2 hr-2 hrs for every hour you spend in class. College requires a lot more studying than you think it will. When they say it's not high school, they mean it.

On the other hand, Opie's right. Prioritize (which generally means study first) and if you're feeling too overwhelmed, cut back on something.
