Do I start applying now? Wasn't there a website for this? Any recommendations?

There is website that lists jobs for Cornellians. It get updated often...but a bulk of the jobs won't appear until closer to the start of the semester. Just wait until you arrive on campus.

fitness centers are good places to look, there's the cornell annual fund that will probably be looking for people, and if you have work study- libraries

Last year my daughter applied for jobs before she arrived for orientation. She had a few interviews during the orientation week. She ended getting an office job that was specifically looking for a freshman because they wanted someone for more than one year. She wasn't on FA, and it wasn't a requirement. She worked 10 hours/week, and it had no effect on her school work. The office was very flexible, they were willing to work with her schedule. She is going back again this fall.

If you have FWS I recommend the library...they lost a lot of seniors and so they'll be looking for newbies :-)

Also...if you have lifeguard certification...that is one of the highest paying jobs on campus...I loved it.
