You know, I have been wanting to start a job and I need options. Any advice?
It is hard to get hired by big companies or chains if you are under 18. Look into small local companies, lifeguarding, or junior summer camp counselor for next summer. Or make up flyers and pet sit or do yard work.
In my town, Chick-fil-a hires at 14
Dion’s hires at 14 or 15 I think. You could also tutor part-time.
Yeah, that sounds nice, but I have very busy Summers. I do online classes. I was wondering if there was a job that anyone knew of that I could participate online or that I could take late in the day.
Why do you do online classes in the summer? Genuinely curious – if it is to improve your college admissions chances, it isn’t really going to give you much lift.
Hold up. CharlotteLetter. Tutoring sounds like an excellent option
There are some classes that I want to take in school that have certain prerequisites that don’t fit in my regular schedule.
Also, I am in a Program called AICE and it takes up my schedule and I want to do classes that I like
Also, now that I see some people have clicked on my post, what is this website mainly for? I have been using it for advice about school and colleges
Mostly college, but there are forums like this one that are for more general topics as well.
All right. Thanks
I see that they classify you as a senior member. Is that based on your amount of posts
There is an FAQ forum. Here is the thread to answer your question: http://talk.qa.collegeconfidential.com/faqs-on-college-confidential/2002240-how-do-i-become-a-senior-member.html#latest
OK THanks
Why do you take online classes during summers? Regardless, some fast-food places may let you work afternoon/night shifts - also some local amusement parks might hire younger teens.
