Jobs in alabama

what’s the job market like in alabama, esp. for STEM jobs?

Alabama has low unemployment for college-educated people.

Alabama has plenty of high-tech jobs.

I don’t know what STEM is…LOL

Science, technology, engineering and math ;)

As m2ck mentioned, the job market in Alabama is quite good for college-educated people, even more so when you are considering jobs in STEM fields.

With the increased OOS enrollment at both UA and AU, I feel that the State of Alabama could do more to entice those students (and in-state students) to stay in Alabama after graduation. Wherever you decide to attend university, I highly recommend looking for jobs all across the US and around the world instead of one or two specific states. Even If you wanted to stay in the southeast, you could work in GA, TN, MS, ect., and still be close to Alabama.

The state of Alabama is attracting more and more high-tech companies to move here because it’s a low tax state.

That is what has helped propel the growth of places like Cummings Research Park.
