<p>Im a finance major that will be transferring San Jose in the fall. I am not from San Jose and will be needing a job to help pay for school. Should I try to get a job that could relate to my major (i.e. bank perhaps?) or should I simply try for a job in a restaurant or bar that would most likely pay better?</p>
<p>It depends on you situation. If you need the money, then get the higher paying job or work more than one (although, I wouldn’t assume that a job in a restaurant or bar would pay more than a job related to your major). If you don’t need the money, then try to get a job related to what you’d like to do after you graduate (although, I also wouldn’t assume that this would be easy to find or get).</p>
