Does anyone know any good jobs that have flexible hours for someone that plays a high school sport? I play basketball and I really want to get a job, to help pay for my college tuition and because it looks good on an application. I'm playing it all the time though, and my practice/conditioning times change A LOT so i don't know how i would be able to keep a steady job without having to keep changing the hours, or ending up quitting during the season. How will I be able to fit a job in?

I honestly don’t know anyone that plays a sport and has a job.

The only case would be one of the guys I work with, he plays tennis in the spring and our job is uber-flexible (it’s ridiculous, really), so he just won’t be working at all then, maybe like 3 hours/week.

A sports team is probably the largest time commitment there is.

Not a lot of places will hire you to begin with if you’re extremely inflexible.

Perhaps a church or other place that needs childcare workers in evenings and on weekends will work well. That is where I work.
