Jobs that don't require too much

are there any on campus jobs that you can regularly do homework during? i heard working at the library was a good start.

im sorta nervous about being able to balance all this schoolwork (cuz im just a freshman) with an oncampus job, how is it, what's it like? (esp. with like 18 hardcore units)

how many hours are you expected to work and how flexible is it/ how understanding are they of your studies and commitments?

i dont have work study but im going to need a cash inflow. i dont seem to have the best luck with scholarships

Try wooden front desk or towel office. Opening or closing shifts are really good for homework b/c like nobody is there.

i would like to know too cuz i wanna work and do homework ahah

“i dont have work study”

Then you won’t get a job (unless you have inside connections).

“i dont have work study”

Then you won’t get a job (unless you have inside connections).

how sure are you about that? i heard that some jobs, like cso, take most people. but it also seems to be the job that the least amount of people desire.

there’s gotta be some openings for non workstudy people though, right?

I was exaggerating. The good jobs (technology, library, clerk, etc.) are all pretty much only work-study. The only jobs non-work-study students can get are dining hall and some other jobs that require you to work off-hours.

That’s not entirely true. I have two friends who managed to get jobs at the Young library that seem like pretty chill jobs (they can do homework), and both don’t have work study.

Being a work study student myself, I admit finding a good job with work study is a lot easier though.
