Jobs you would never do

what are the jobs you would never do?

OB/GYN-i don't think this needs an explanation
Proctologist-i don't think this needs an explanation
Urologist-i don't think this needs an explanation
Massage Therapist- I don't touch over weight and/or hairy people
Artificially inseminate animals- saw it on dirty job and that was sick!
Work in a sewer-i don't think this needs an explanation

school district bus driver

I could be a massage therapist. I have no problem with fat people. Just because you're fat does not mean you're unclean. That is BS (sorry to be crude). Hairy people, too, can be perfectly clean. Some of the hottest men on this earth happen to be hairy :)

I would never be a prostitute.

A caterpillar researcher -caterpillars scare me soo much. shudders

I know.I need help.

^ lol that's cute.

And I agree with OBGYN, proctologist, urologist, and working in a sewer.

I'd never work a desk job (for a career).

i would never do anything that involved moving around

OBGYN sounded good to me at first but then I read about it in the library and looked at some pictures (in a bio book!!!) after that I didn't really like the job any more.

There is no job I would automatically decline. Every job is an opportunity.

Just because they're clean doesnt mean you wanna touch 'em. have you considered the person doesnt like touching fat and/or hair? lol. and i concur, i wouldnt either. dont put words in people's mouths..the OP never mentioned cleanliness of fat or hairy people.

Do you mean moving as in residence or like...walking? haha i thought maybe they were really lazy in Egypt tehehe.

tehehe :@

I mean like lots of hard work.. construction or anything that involved lifting heavy stuff.

One job I would hate is a school teacher.

MEDICAL DOCTOR OF ANY KIND
ENGINEER OF ANY KIND
SCIENTIST OF ANY KIND
PHARMACIST OF ANY KIND
SCIENTIFIC RESEARCHER OF ANY KIND
ANYTHING INVOLVING NATURAL SCIENCE OF ANY KIND

Reason: I hate and don't understand science (bio/chem/physics). Enough said.

SCHOOL TEACHER
IRS AGENT
CIVIL SERVICE

Reason: They make like no money.

TELEMARKETER
PHARMACIST
RECEPTIONIST
ACCOUNTANT

Reason: They are boring jobs.

ANYTHING INVOLVING MANUAL/PHYSICAL LABOR

Reason: I'm not an outdoorsy kind of person...and I'm not particularly fit, I'll suck at it.

On the other hand, my dream job: VENTURE CAPITALIST.

-prostitute
-anything in the medical profession. I have no tolerance for illness, pain, blood, needles, etc.

-Hopsital nurse. My mom does this, and she tells me all the horrible details. It's gross and stressful.

-_-; I hope that all of you who think that working in a hospital is "gross" treat all the staff who work there decently.

Patients/visitors who get ****y annoy me.

I would never be a:

corporate lawyer, banker, doctor
Heh, Vcap without liking bio/chem/physics is like being a doctor for fevers only. Good luck.

I would never be a professional boy.

Fine. It might be fun for awhile...

Yeah, even though I would never do the work, I know it's important to treat the staff with respect. They do an important job that I would never do.

Futurenyustudent, accountants do not have a boring job. I think you're just a victim of the media's brainwashing. Instead of concluding that a job is boring after watching a couple of Hollywood movies that portray accountants as nerdy bean counters, actually do some research and I think that might rectify any previous misconceptions of accounting that you might have.

BTW, what are you majoring in or plan on majoring in? I'm asking this because everytime I see your userid, I always think of Stern.

I've seen the portfolios of quite a few venture capital firms and it seems like the trend is that a lot of them don't specialize in just life sciences/biotech companies anymore. I've seen quite a few extensive portfolios of financial services or business services and media/telecommunications companies on their portfolios and even retail/consumer products. Seems like they'll invest in any company with high growth potential, regardless of industry.

Haha I have met quite a few venture capitalists. They are not lazy or ignorant like you. You don't become a venture capitalist by going 'science sucks! lolzzz!!!'. Its hard work and few succeed.

I would never be a public high school teacher or a janitor.
