Michigan quit their INTEFLEX program several years ago. Originally a 6-year program, it then became a 7-year program, and then an 8-year program, essentially becoming a conditional-admission-into-their-med-school assuming you complete traditional undergrad. Now, you essentially gotta go the traditional pre-med route to get into U-M med school.

BTW, I never heard of Appalachian State until Michigan made them famous last year. (And then Oregon stopped by the following week to give em another whipping.)

While Ohio State and Michigan barely squeaked out victories over Ohio U and Miami of Ohio respectively, JoePa and the Nittany Lions creamed the Oregon State Beavers 45-14.

On to Syracuse! (Proggies gonna do a ROAD TRIP ???)

Yeah, Senior Linebacker Brit Miller and his fellow Fighting Illini are going to be fighting for the exit line out of Beaver Stadium after JoePa and the Nittany Lions get to em.

8pm EST.

Can't get to Beaver Stadium? Watch it on ABC or one of the ESPNs.

After 20-6 win over Purdue, Penn State is now 6-0 !!!

This Saturday, Penn State will go to Camp Randall Stadium to take on the Wisconsin Badgers.

But beware of those Wisconsin Badgers. The Badgers just lost two heart breakers in a row to other perennial powerhouses in the BigTen, Michigan and Ohio State. A win over JoePa and the Nittany Lions would certainly help Wisconsin salvage some of their season.

A week ago, after dominating Michigan 19-0 in the first half at the Big House in Ann Arbor (and having dedicated Wolverine fans boo their own team as they left the field at halftime), the Badgers let the Wolverines have one of their biggest come-backs in history as Michigan came back in the 2nd half to beat Wisconsin 27-25.

And yesterday, Ohio State came back with a minute to go to steal a 20-17 victory over the Badgers.

After these two heart breaking losses, the Badgers will certainly put up one heck of challenge for JoePa and the Nittany Lions, probably JoePa's toughest game so far this season.

Can JoePa do it??? Watch the exciting action this Saturday!!! To be broadcast 8pm EST on ESPN. It's gonna be one heck of a game!!!

What was I thinking when I asked? "Can JoePa do it?" Pretty stupid question, don't ya think?

WAS THERE EVER ANY DOUBT ???

After Penn State COMPLETELY dominated Wisconsin in a 48-7 blitzing, boy, do I have egg on my face for even thinking it might be close. (Over medium, please.)

Wisconsin QB Allen Evridge had a nice little scramble to the left to stick it in for Wisconsin. Unfortunately for the Badgers, that was it. Meanwhile, JoePa and the Nittany Lions had a zillion of 'em up their sleeve. JoePa can do it blind-folded, backwards, all the way up in the Press Box. (ROFLM Buttocks Off !!!)

Penn State QB Daryll Clark is now being mentioned with the word, "Heisman."

And Penn State now ranked #3 !!! NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP HERE WE COME !!!

I'm skeptical to say that Michigan will pull an upset, but with the way the season is going you just never know what to expect. If the Wolverines can put together decent drives and avoid costly turnovers, then this could be a close game.

Utah and Illinois (particularly) dominated Michigan. The fumble-fest in rainy South Bend was a comedy of errors. And then Toledo (huh ???). And Michigan's two wins over Wisconsin (a miracle) and Ohio (Ohio???) could have easily gone the other way -- U-M could easily be 0-6 right now.

While Michigan's Threet is throwing 100 yard touchdown passes to the wrong team and Sheridan is still trying to figure out how to play QB, Penn State's Daryll Clark keeps getting better and better. I hope the game doesn't get too lopsided, but there is a high probability it might. I'll offer up a "Go Blue" in hopes that it stays interesting for at least the 1st half.

Well, Michigan kept things interesting for a while, but it all went down hill after the 1st quarter. Hats off to Penn State for playing a great game, and hopefully they can defeat Ohio State next weekend. As for the Wolverines, well, let's not go there.

Agreed, nice first quarter for Michigan. After Toledo, looked like Michigan came to play. But with two boneheaded Wolverine penalties late in the first half that allowed the Nittany Lions to move up the field and close the gap to only 3 points before halftime, well, that was all JoePa & Co needed to take to the locker room. The second half was all Penn State.

Penn State now 8-0, still ranked #3.

On to the Horseshoe and #10 Ohio State !!! This is THE big game!!!

Now time for the big game...This is basically for the national title shot. It's time for Joe Pa to once again bring home the national title to Happy Valley.
