I read from a newspaper a while ago, speedslater Joey Cheek (olympic Gold Medal in 500 m) applied to Gton. I want to know if he got in? Anybody knows where he is going. He is a terrific guy. I hope he got in.

i goooogled it

I'm pretty sure I read an article saying he did. He got into places like Georgetown and Yale for economics, but not Harvard and a lot of journalists were pretty mad about it. It'd be really nice to have him around G-town campus, though.

how old is he?

He's speaking here tomorrow.

Chicago Tribune Sports section today said he had narrowed it down to Princeton, Yale, and Stanford... sorry guys.

I'm confused. I've checked three sources and they all report he was born in '79. Shouldn't he be out of graduate school by now?

Not if he was professionally speedskating. Then he probably put off college for the olympics -- a very forgivable act. Haha.

lol wow, rejected from harvard

I remember one of the boards here said that so and so could never get into harvard without a great hook, like winning an olympic gold medal. Here is such a case, but he still got rejected!

He chose Princeton... I was talking about it with some people yesterday.
