Does anyone have experience with John Cabot University in Rome? Have you attended or known someone who has attended? How good are the academics and etc.
Thanks!

i am a current student at john cabot university in rome, italy about to graduate with a degree in humanistic studies with a minor in philosophy. i think everyone should choose to study abroad even if it is just for a few months. as a liberal arts university, degree-seeking students at john cabot get a well-rounded education including subjects in the humanities, arts, basic sciences, history, and political and social sciences. john cabot university is the first regionally-accredited university in italy so that means that someone looking to come abroad for a semester has the opportunity to have their credits transfer to another university. which was good for me because i transfered to john cabot in my sophomore year and all of my credits transferred with me. i will say that as far as my classes go, i have had professors who have completely changed my life, and i don’t necessarily think that i could have found that in many other universities, and i definitely did not have that in my first university.

thanks for responding allieg! I am interested in going to John Cabot as a degree-seeking student too. Do you think you’ll have a lot of opportunities after graduation - grad school-wise and career-wise? What do you think about the social atmosphere at the school (I ask because I don’t want to go to a party school, I want to go to a school that is academically challenge but with a lot of culture)? Overall, is there anything you wish were different about JCU? Thanks so much!!
