John hopkins or Cornell?

Which of these two is better for biochemistry, molecular biology?

How harsh is this course? How long is it? Is it really demanding and suffering?

If I graduate on this what could I work on? how much money would I make per MONTH?

Please somebody help me

Johns Hopkins is objectively better and it may be slightly demanding but not as much as most say

omgoodness…

JohnS Hopkins!

what about the job and what would your monthly salary be?

Huh?

  1. Are you kidding about the “how much money would I make per MONTH?”
    (I certainly hope so)

Harsh? Yes. No cake walk through 4 years with these majors, especially at these two schools.

Cornell and Hopkins both have top bio/biochem/molecular programs. Academics in these areas will be top at both. NO advantage at one over the other.

NO, im obviously not joking, i wanna now what type of job would I have, and if I would make enough to have a pleasant life man… How hard would it be to get a decent job? is it hard to get one?

Sorry, love. The questions you ask are dependent on a lot of variables. A degree from a good school will always help you out, though for the majors you list, I would think more people would look toward JHU. I assume you’re going pre-med, if you want to make the money and all. And as for how much that salary will be, well… let me look into my crystal ball and…

Note: attention to detail as WantIvy mentioned may help you get more replies—first impressions taken into account, people may not take you seriously if you misspell the names of their dearly beloved schools haha.

Cornell!

Workload is tough but worth it. I don’t know how much money you can make once you get out (I wouldn’t worry about that for another 4 years) but Cornell students have a solid reputation for being hardworkers and are therefore loved by recruiters. Coming out of Cornell you’re practically guaranteed a solid job

I would choose Johns Hopkins, but in all reality, Cornell and JH are pretty close.
IMO, I’d go with Hopkins.

Hopkins and Cornell were actually my 2 favourite schools so I’m in a similar position, and I’ve chosen Hopkins. In all fairness though, this is the Hopkins forum. What else did you expect us to say?

Both schools are great schools and I don’t think you can go wrong with either - it’s a question of where you think you fit better. As far as the difficulty, it’s going to be challenging at both schools. If you’re looking for a “easy” program, neither Hopkins nor Cornell is the right place to look.
