the worst is when you get that and you're an engineer

Has anyone ever gotten "Oh, so you want to study international relations?". I think that would be quite funny.

if anybody is watching ABC right now .. there's a show on the world-renowned John Hopkins. Not even ABC can get it right lol.

Are you serious. I watched it already. Hopkins on ABC. Good show.

yeah i clicked info and the info called it John Hopkins

Info on the cable/satellite preview? I didn't catch it but it would be funny if there was a narrator and he kept saying "John Hopkins".

yeah it was the info for the cable/satelitte.. but they just kept calling it hopkins when i was watching lol

hello i am a freshmen student and never have really applyed myself in school, i donmt make very good grades i normal just goof off; but i am a very intelligent, and bright student, i ahve just always took school as a joke. my dream in life is to become a successful neurosurgeon every since i watched the Ben Carson Story it really inspired me. i make C’s and D’s and some F’s. I’m not really proud of my grades and i wont to turn things around. do you think i could still get accepted into Johns Hopkins if i turn my grades around to A’s and B’s and get good scores on the SAT and ACT? i really want to apply myslef now!

From a marketing perspective, I think it’s interesting that Hopkins uses three names: Johns Hopkins, Hopkins, and JHU. It seems like the “brand” would be more easily recognizable if they tried to transition everyone to using one name. For example, MIT doesn’t call itself MassTech half of the time, it acknowledges that MIT is what it is supposed to be called outside of any formal function. If it called itself MassTech half of the time and MIT the other half of the time, people would only spend half as much time hearing the name “MIT” and the MIT brand would be less recognizable.

I don’t know if anyone has thought about this or studied it.
