Johns Hopkins -- 2007 Transfer Thread

ACCEPTED!!! :) :) :) Divine intervention really pulled through this time!

Check your e-mail everyone!! Good luck!!

rejected..(Frankly, I don't feel bad cuz JHU is not my first choice:))..Tanya..are you gonna go to GTown or JHU?

I'm sorry Aquamarine... :(

I am not 100% sure yet, I will be visiting both campuses next week. :)

did u get your decision by e-mail? I haven't received anything yet...

Tanya..don't feel sorry for me:)..(and I heard from someone JHU doesn't much like international students..)..I am gonna reapply to GTown next year..If you go to GTown, we can definitely meet..lol...:)

nothing in my e-mail yet

I got an email but I'm going to wait for the letter, I think.. I suspect it'll be here within a day or so.

yeah I just called and they said they will be sending decisions by priority mail so it won't take long to reach us...

I received an e-mail this morning titled "Congratulations from JHU," and as RejectedfromMIT mentioned, it stated that the acceptance package was on its way.

Ken, if you plan to attend, will you be transferring in as a sophomore or junior?

nothing in my email :((((

How does finaid work w/ transfers........do they get less priority over incoming/current students? Does JHU still meet 100% of the demonstrated fin need?

OMG I GOT INTO JOHNS HOPKINS TOO! Just got the email right now

Congratulations!

still nothing in my e-mail

John Latting
Director of Undergraduate Admissions

Congrats!! If you plan to attend, would you be coming in as a sophomore or junior? I'd be transferring in as a junior in neuroscience, I'm beyond excitedddd! :)

you guys should really be proud of your selves for such an accomplishment, I'm still anxious to know what my decision is although I will be attending UPenn, it's just that I wanna know if I'm good enough for JHU

Thanks... :) If you were accepted at Penn, I don't think you have to worry. ;) If you made a copy of your application, double check to see that you provided an accurate e-mail address.

The letters were mailed this morning, so they should be in our mailboxes tomorrow, latest by Friday. It turns out they only accepted 58 transfer students this academic year, extremely competitive, jeesh! :)

this is total BS, I still have nothing in my e-mail and it seems like I'll have to wait until tomorrow...
I hate this waiting thing that colleges put us through

rejected! :)
but it's okay
i would've been more surprised to find myself accepted anyway
i'm gonna to spend another year at CCC to prepare for next year
;)
