Johns Hopkins Chance Me?

I recently applied ED to Johns Hopkins as a Molecular and Cellular Biology major. Can someone chance me? I really want to go.

Stats:
GPA: 3.9/4 UW
ACT: 35
800 Math 2
790 Bio M
AP Bio: 4, AP Stats: 5, AP Psych: 4, AP Physics: 4, AP Macro: 4
Current APs senior year: AP Lit, AP Calc AB, AP Chem

ECs:
Speech and Debate- quite a few regional and state speech awards (top 30 CA, and a bunch of individual invitationals and tournaments)

  • VP of school’s S/D team
    Nonprofit for speech/debate
Research work over summer at lab
Independent research in a lab currently
Website talking about interactions of chemicals in skincare at cellular level
Tutor special needs kids in piano
Junior Secretary at this organization for patient healthcare and assigning medications, calling patients, organizing program fundraiser
AC for school’s club on disease awareness

I know the waiting is the hardest part but you already submitted your application and can’t do anything else. You have done the best you can do, and it is impressive, but Hopkins is really competitive and gets a ton of impressive applicants. Try to enjoy your senior year and not spend massive amounts of time over analyzing something that is completely out of your hands. Good luck!

You’ve given yourself the best chance of acceptance by applying ED. You certainly have a better shot at it. With your chosen major and resume, odds poor as RD but ED, maybe. Natural sciences admits are tough at JHU. Where do you live—do you have a geographical advantage?
