Johns Hopkins chances??

Just finished my junior year. I have a 3.5 GPA (91)(rank: 40-50/200), and scored a 1930 on the SAT (CR 650 M 610 W 670)(plans to take it again). I took my SAT 2s and scored a 690 on the US history.

White Male, NY public school
I have:
-A few years of Varsity Sports
-3 Honor Societies
-Class Secretary
-7 AP classes (AP Bio, AP Physics, AP Calc, AP English (2 years), AP US, AP Gov)
-Community service
-Multiple jobs

I would apply Early Decision and my grades have been in an upward trend.

You may not have the best of chances due to your GPA, rank and test scores. You should definitely attempt to bring those up by the first semester of your senior year. With some good essays, though, you may be able to bring up your chances through ED.

Chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1175463-chance-me-before-i-start-essays.html

I plan on really working hard the beginning of senior year so I hopefully will be able to write about how JHU drove me to do better. maybe itll help

anybody else? I’d really appreciate it

I’m also looking at Hopkins. My best advice would be to raise up your test scores. If the SAT is not your thing, go for the ACT. only apply ED if you can get your scores up. Go for the 2200+ SAT/ 32+ ACT. Best of luck.
Chance me back
