Johns Hopkins Chances?

<p>After looking through lots of great schools, I'd like to apply to Johns Hopkins University, ED or RD. Do I have a realistic shot? This is what I'm working with:</p>

<p>SAT- 2320 in a single setting (750 Reading, 790 Math, 780 Writing)
SAT II- 760-Bio E, 770- Math 2, 750- U.S History
ACT- 35 Composite (36 English, 35 Math, 34 Reading, 36 Science)
AP- 5's- US History, Language and Composition, World History
4's- Biology, Calc AB
3's- Calc BC (may not report)
PSAT- 221</p>

<p>GPA (3.5 Unweighted, 4.2 weighted) Low I know ;(</p>

<p>I have also taken several courses through Cornell University Summer College obtaining a College transcript GPA of 4.3</p>

<p>I take a very competitive schedule, especially compared to my local peers, with my current year line up including AP Stat, AP Literature, AP Spanish, AP Psych, AP Govt. and Politics, and AP Chem</p>

<p>Extra Curriculars</p>

<p>Supervising Coordinator for Volunteer Program at Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit (Methodist Hospital) (~1000 hours)
Job Shadowing at University of Nebraska Medical Center
Various Bio labs at my local college
Organic Chemistry through MIT Courseware
Team Captain for Varsity Debate Team (placed 6th in state at Public Forum)
Policy Debate Team (Cornell)
British Parliamentary Debate Team (Cornell)
National Honor Society
State Track (Discus, No medal)
Nebraska Boys State (2014 Speaker of House)
Various Internships (Loyd's of London local branch here)
National Merit Semi Finalist
Student Ambassador Republican Party of Nebraska</p>

<p>I come from a relatively small town in Nebraska, and I'm just trying to make myself stand out. It may be worth mentioning I can pay for my college in full, no need for scholarships (although they are nice). </p>

<p>Many thanks for the help guys!</p>

<p>I’d say you’re a high match/low reach wish your acedemic achievements. Your test scores are above the 75th percentile. Unless your interested in BME I wouldn’t do ED; you have a great chance at RD and could possibly get into ivies with those credential. Oh, and being from Nebraska is a major plus! Good luck! </p>

<p>IS REGULAR DECISION FOR HOPKINS BINDING OR NON-BINDING? If I apply RD and get an offer then will that mean that i HAVE to attend hopkins or what?</p>
