Hey, everyone! I was accepted to Hopkins ED this year, and I just wanted to say good luck to you all! Just remember that no matter what happens, you will be happy wherever you end up. I remember how ridiculously nervous I was the day before ED decisions came out, so just say positive and remember that they look for much more than SAT/ACT scores. (Trust me, mine weren’t the best at all.) Once again, good luck everyone!
Coming straight off a rejection from Northwestern so please lets pray for an acceptance. My mental health is at stake here.
Do UCLA’s decisions come out tomorrow? I know their portal said end of March but I wasn’t sure if they released a specific day.
@xkatiel13 UCLA hasn’t confirmed anything but everyone is saying that the decision should be out tomorrow evening.

@sosos22 @itsesthery same boat as you guys. is there a chance that hopkins will be any different? I’m seriously worried. tbh i didn’t really care much about northwestern but hopkins is my dream school
@Chris817 I really can’t tell you anything. I’m the same way. I didn’t care much for NW but JHU is my top choice school. The acceptance rate of both colleges are about the same @ 12%. But I believe acceptance rates don’t really reveal anything because each college looks for different things in an applicant. But i wouldn’t totally freak out and automatically conclude that because you got rejected from NW you’ll also be rejected from JHU. Like I said, we really don’t know until we get our decision tomorrow afternoon Really wish you the best luck!

@Chris817 High GPA and Class Rank but relatively low SAT scores. I was shooting for 2100 but didn’t get it unfortunately. I didn’t play any sports ( which worries me slightly) but I (want to) believe I have a pretty strong list of medical-field oriented activities I’ve been pursuing since middle school so hopefully that helps me out a bit.
Johns Hopkins is a reach school for me BUT STILL STAYING HOPEFUL hahahaha

I feel the nerves too, but weirdly a lot less so. I’m glad I got my first rejection over with so I can prepare for this one lol
My portal is empty but I also didn’t apply for financial aid
Got waitlisted at CWRU on the 12th for BME so I will almost certainly get rejected for BME at JHU since it is the best on earth. Not worried anymore, just resigned to defeat in my college admissions journey.
@shadyconcepts NW decision release was completely unexpected so I’m still taken aback :))

@selectyour Mine just says that my portal has been created with my financial aid checklist below.
I saw earlier some people worrying about not knowing how to work the portal and I’m not sure what they mean cause there really isn’t anything other than the main page that lets you know when the decisions will be out??? haha
@itsesthery I actually didn’t apply to NW, but I feel for you guys! It sucks that it was a surprise. I applied to UChicago and that came yesterday for me haha
