Favorable so I’m trying to change their mind

I will be waiting for responses and
Thank you !

I too am from New Jersey and I think you have a good shot. How do you stand compared to the students in your school and how many usually get into Hopkins your school? And may I ask why Hopkins for Comp Eng? I would feel like CMU and MIT would be able to help you more (not saying JHU can’t but you know what I mean). Also I suggest you take the AP test for comp sci if u can.

I chose Hopkins because I absolutely love the place and Baltimore is my favorite city (lol) and about the Rank my school doesn’t rank so I clearly don’t know but defiantly Top 30 ( my school is VERY competitive ) and I was looking at the MIT stats at my school and only 1 person got into MIT from my school in the last 10 years while we had like 8 or 7 Students who got accepted to JHU.
The problem at my school is the GPA’s are very high but mostly only one or two can pass 2200 on the SAT.
Another reason that I think Hopkins is the best choice for me is its easier to get Into because it’s a known med school even tho they have general admissions … But for MIT nearly everyone want to study engineering and the acceptance rate for MIT is much much lower than JHU
