I am looking to apply to JHU under ED. I know it is a reach for me but I think I have an alright shot.

Job: Tutor a friend in Math

A+ (computer) and Mac technician certified.

Thanks!

Low reach

How are your recommendations and essay?

Recommendations should be very good because I am very hard working and good with teachers. Essays are coming along good but I am not the best writer. I am trying to really show them my unique self though.

Unrelated, but your ACT isn’t bad, I’d send it if I were you.
And WORK HARD ON THAT ESSAY
Essays are your one chance to show yourself off to admissions- keep it short and sweet and, like you said, unique. Get your friends and teachers to review it for you. Remember, admissions read hundreds a day. Keep them enticed.

So yeah, low reach. Good luck!

0%. Please don’t even waste their time with an application. You are completely under qualified and you deserve to be going to some lower level university, not Johns Hopkins.
