Johns Hopkins ED CHANCESSS PLZ NEED OPINION

So I'm applying ED for JHU this fall!!! ahhhhh.

Weighted GPA: 4.25
Public High School in NJ (very competitive though, top 10 cant say which cuz id give away personal info :/)

My biggest problems are my exams!!!!!
I did very poorly on the SAT Subject tests and I don't know whether or not I should retake them this November and just immediately send those scores to JHU no matter what :/ And Im also planning to retake my SATs this October and take my ACTs this September. I know Ill do well on them because Im gonna study my butt of this summer. Without studying for my first SAT I got an 1800, and I know I can get at least above a 2000 but less than 2100.

SO BIG QUESTION: SHOULD I RETAKE MY SAT SUBJECT TESTS? Is it that important? Ill sctually study. I didnt study for these because I assumed that I studied enough the month before for the AP exams :/

I know these are a lot!!! But Im really scared of not getting accepted into the ones I really want.

you know that subject scores are only recommended for hopkins so you don’t technically have to send them. are you applying to BME or another major? for BME I would say your chances are slim to none. But for other majors, if you get your SAT around the 2050 range like you say you can and you make your EC’s look good and write good essays, you have a chance. Try to get some outside experience in the field you want to major in. Hopkins really likes internships, especially if you are going into a science major.

Im not applying as a bme major, heck no… Im applying as a biology major. Theyre “strongly recommended” so i dont know what theyre trying to hint at… What do you mean by “making my ecs look good”? And im planning to just work side by side with my father (hes a physical therapist) this summer. Although its not related to my major, biology, its still in the medical field and i enjoy being around his elderly patients.

northwestern, chapel hill, cornell, ucla and hopkins are HIGH reaches. Your GPA is good, but poor test scores do NOT look good. These are how colleges compare students from different schools. Also, your EC’s are weak, meaning little leadership and not really anything that makes them worthwhile. Get those scores up at least!

Ap scores:
Bio-3
English Lang- 3  (im rly surprised! I seriously thought id do better)
Apush- 5
