Scores are low I know, but I'm hoping the holistic application may overlook my low scores :'(

i think its a high reach. your gpa is low, and u dont seem to take too many challenging courses (ur weighted is a bit low), ur sat is pretty low too. your ec’s are pretty good, but they arent enough to overshadow ur tests and gpa.

chance me back: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1674595-chance-me-at-georgia-tech-cooper-union-virginia-tech-and-case-western.html#latest

:( I get that, my grades are low but, its because i challenged myself a little too much. I am retaking my SAT so I hope that fixes it. Any-who ill chance you back!

Sure, email me at: dsl26@law.georgetown.edu

bump

I think if you can get the SAT score to a 2250+ and write killer essays, it’ll be a low reach. But right now it’s a high reach.

If you can take a heavy course load for senior year I think you may be able to slide through ED

If you felt too challenged in high school then JHU is not for you.

You have outstanding EC’s, but I don’t know if they make up completely for the scores. Probably JHU will be a reach.

Long shot. Your class rank and scores are a bit too low. Tae Kwon Do does not help much as an athletic boost.

We don’t submit class rank (just found out) But thanks everybody for your input. I am going to shoot for the 2250+!!! Would a 2250 cover up a 91.5 GPA? I generally think my GPA is holding me back more than my SAT because I can totally bring that up. Thanks again everybody

your GPA is definitely your weak point. i think your ec’s definitely make up for your SAT scores, but with a higher SAT score, it could help cover for your GPA. MAKE SURE TO WORK HARD FIRST MARKING PERIOD. colleges really look at your senior year!
