Johns Hopkins Engineering Innovation?

S21 was accepted to this at the Homewood (residential( campus and the payment deadline is looming. He applied bc he’s a math/science kid (in multivariable calc & AP Physics C this yr) but doesn’t know which direction to take for college. Does anyone have any input on this program? It’s expensive so we don’t want to pay for it if he’s too advanced and wouldn’t learn anything (they did require SAT/ACT, transcripts, recs, but Trig was the highest math “required”, or if it doesn’t help you decide if engineering is for you. He didn’t apply to help his chances to get in at this or other schools. He’s not qualified for all the great/free summer science programs bc he’s been heavily involved in a sport year-round until just lately (concussion) and hasn’t done science olympiads, etc. He’s looking for a program that will help guide him toward a major. Thank you!
