Hey everyone, if there's already a thread for this, link please : )

According to the website decisions will be released mid-April through May and I was just wondering if anyone has heard anything!!

I hvnt gotten anything back yet, but im excited, and nervous, to find out!!

haven’t heard anything yet and don’t expect to for a while. (i submitted my app March 8 or something.) i actually forgot JHU starts releasing decisions mid-april. exciting!!

I’m so annoyed. Hopkins claims that my high school transcript is missing… its the first thing I had sent to the school. All the way in January! I’m going to call and ask them to check if they filed it away somewhere with the Freshman applicants b/c of how early I sent it in.

I hope I hear back 1st week of May… seems unlikely because of this transcript fiasco. Smh

@ abxborough! Same here!!!

buh? same here!! just got back from my hs’ guidance office.

glad all you have to do is fax it in.

I haven’t heard anything… Johns Hopkins is one of two schools that I’m expecting a rejection letter from but you never know!

Aww I hope the transcript issues get cleared up without too much hassle D:

Should we expect an announcement for the decision date, or does the decision just randomly appear in our inbox ?

yeah im confused, when do we get word from them???

I called today and they said they don’t expect to be mailing decisions until mid-May.

someone I know already got accepted lol…

yeah, they say on their website at least that they start releasing decisions on a rolling basis starting in april.

and Xferstudent, care to share his/her stats? 8D

Actually, its a friend of a friend’s.

Top 20 USNewsR school. I think she got 4.0

as a transfer. I posted this elsewhere. I have heard the admissions are rolling and we did not expect a response so soon. She is a very qualified candidate with a 4.0 in engineering from a public university. The acceptance came via US mail and she received an email.

oh god, the paranoid part of me thinks that they’re sending out all of the acceptances first.

soo nervous…! sick

to the people who had to send in their hs transcripts again, did JHU ever notify you of its successful arrival? i got no word from them about that. i assumed they would alert me only if they hadn’t gotten the fax, but now i think i should’ve called just to be sure my transcript got to them… (。_。')

they did say that if your application is incomplete, they would have contacted you by now… so I assume that they got all your application materials! I sent my transcript 3 times (once in Jan, Feb and March…) because I saw on threads that people were having that problem… hopefully 3 sets is not overkill

Spoke to an employee (non admissions) who said that admissions was “saying” they would send out acceptances 5/20. They were surprised we had heard so soon. We have until June to respond so . . not sure if they are waiting for responses since all acceptance would out before the responses are due.

@ museumgerm

I called my high school and they faxed it while I was still on the phone with them. I feel like I should have called Hopkins to make sure, but I didn’t. I am pretty sure that my high school did receive the “fax receipt” from Hopkins saying that it was sent.

^ yeah, looks like their policy of no notifications still applies.

btw, JHU’s blog just posted about the upcoming transfer decisions!! well, like 2 days ago… check it out: [Hopkins Insider A Post for the JHU Transfer Applicant](http://blogs.hopkins-interactive.com/blog/2011/05/a-post-for-the-jhu-transfer-applicant/#respond)

they’ve had their biggest transfer applicant pool ever this year, of course… and no set date for mass e-mailing decisions; the decisions go out individually throughout the month!! i’m gonna have a panic attack every time i open my e-mail now.
