@plsplspls I’m kind of glad they will release the result right after all my finals but before my summer classes lol
@jquery haha lucky for you my CC gets out on the 5th so I have to sit and wait.
I also find it weird that it’s so quiet in this thread. Hopefully that means no one applied this fall
Hey, I did! I received the email regarding where the decision will be released awhile ago (just an update) but I feel like it’s quiet on here because we’ve got some time to go honestly
Just emailed them. I still haven’t received anything since I submitted my application.
@plsplspls probably because JHU has an extremely low transfer acceptance rate?
Compared to last year, a lot of threads have been quiet. Maybe CC is losing their Mojo.
Just called them and received the email that everyone seems to have gotten.
Do all decisions for transfers go out on May 15th?
@eyo777 yup or the 16th
I never got any info regarding a login info… anyone else?
@samchoochiu Have you received application complete notification?
@jquery
Never mind, it ended up in spam somehow!
@jquery I haven’t received that complete I only received one “missing item” and then I sent missing items.

@rvyuan I had missing items at first too. I resent it through email and they replied “received”. Then I got an activation link for the decision website.
@jquery I did get the link for website tho. I didn’t receive the complete since I sent the item by mail. I kinda feel like JHU less since the riot in Baltimore happened b/c my mum worries my security. But still hope to get in.
@rvyuan I think many urban colleges are not in very friendly areas, but I visited Baltimore this spring break and I felt unsafe walking on the street in the noon…
@jquery @rvyuan don’t be so scared to go to Baltimore just because people are protesting, less than 100 people were actually doing anything. You act as if the whole city is burning down. No school not even the ivies will protect you from the outside world, this is a fact of life. Johns Hopkins is a lot like USC, there are places you don’t go in LA just like there are places you don’t go in Baltimore. It is up to you to feel comfortable, this irrational fear is what leads people to be ignorant to the surroundings and the struggle of what is actually going on in all cities. If you truly cared about your security and safety then you should care for all the people of Baltimore. So given the chance you should attend Johns Hopkins and build a better future rather than avoiding uncomfortableness.
Guys, did you all submit a letter of recommendation from your professor along with the academic evaluation form from Common App?
@xonnaux what academic evaluation ?
@plsplspls yeah my current college also has a terrible surrounding area. After you live there for a while you will learn what not to do in where.
