Johns Hopkins Fall 2016 Transfers

All you guys have great stats…

I feel terrible now lol

I just called admissions. The rep said they are still reviewing everyone’s application, and we will be notified in a COUPLE weeks. This freaks me out. Anyway, she said we would receive an email saying exactly what time the decision would be released by mid-may.

Decisions typically come out mid-may so this is normal. I expect them the week of 5/16

I received an email saying the decision will be coming out today at 3pm

my exam will be at 4pm omg I’m freaking out

So do the rejections and acceptances both come out today? I just got the email saying 3pm and i’m freaking the heck out!!!

Freaking out just found out decisions will be posted by today at 3.

This is too much. Finals week plus this decision.

Hype! Good luck everyone!

Does anyone know how many transfer students JHK accepts?

@TNIU94 Past common data sets say around 130-140 of 1,000 applicants

I didn’t expect this today and now I am freaking out.

@TNIU94 Not an entirely reliable source, but TransferWeb says that in 2012 they accepted 89 of 1071 (8.31%) students

EDIT: Guess they censor certain other website names on here lol.

Oh well, it looks extremely competitive. I am expecting much

Those stats don’t look too good. They really had to do this on a Friday.

Good luck to everyone!

Looking on the optimistic side of things: Since they seem to have released decisions a little bit earlier than expected, it’s possible that they didn’t have to spend as much time narrowing down their decision and will therefore accept more applicants this year.

Maybe. I do recall most decisions coming out in late May. Soooooo good signs?
Literally sitting while my school is on lockdown and all I can think about is 3pm

rejected!!

Is it up now? Cause my portal doesn’t change yet

Not up for me yet
