I'm having a lot of trouble picking between these two schools. I'd like to ED because..well I know this is dumb, but I just want to be "done" by December.
My stats are good enough for both of these schools (I looked at the numbers).

I like Brown because of PLME, and that it's anthropology and cognitive science departments are reallly rich. I like the artsy vibe.
I DON't like Brown because just from imagining orientation there, I'd feel really intimidated. One reason being that I'm really short. Also, I'm not an "effortless" genius--I have to work hard. a I do believe that I have a witty sense of humor, but I'm not an academic genius.
My SAT score is also on the lower end of the score that admitted students would normally get.

I like Johns Hopkins because it feels like home. I love the modern-looking campus, and I love Baltimore. Baltimore seems so much more fun than Providence. However, it seems really sciencey (which I LIKE) but not "humanities" enough. I bond better with humanities leaning people intellectually, so this is important to me. The dorms are also nicer there.
I DON'T like Johns Hopkins because so many people are going to be Pre-Med there. I don't like being like everyone else (yes I know this sounds egotistical, but it's just how I feel).
My SAT score is also more in the middle of what admitted students would normally get.

These are both almost certainly reaches for you. If you love them equally, ED at JHU because you’ll have a better chance of getting in than at Brown.

I would like to defend brown here and say that it’s really NOT intimidating. You could always apply to both RD and see if you get in either of them.

The problem is, I’ve loved Brown for a long time and I LOVE talking to people who go to Brown. I’ve talked to lots of Brown students for essay help and they’re awesome people. However, I do like the campus life at Johns Hopkins better.

…AND I’ve already finished the Brown supplement because I’d been obsessed with the school for a long time. But the campus life there seems really lackluster! I didn’t really feel safe there.

I have. They’re really cool too, and feel much more “on level” with me. I feel as though I’m talking to educators when I talk to Brown students…as if they’re glowing.

Whenever a poster suggests Hopkins, you come back saying why you prefer Brown. It sounds like you would regret it if you didn’t apply to Brown so I think you answered your own question.

About humanities: JHU is really well known for international relations and IR is a hugely popular major for students, so you shouldn’t have a hard time making friends with humanities majors.
