Johns Hopkins Outdoors

I just got a pamphlet about pre-hopkins freshman bonding. Anyone plan on doing it?

I highly recommend you do it, especially if you even remotely like the outdoors. Missing it was one of my biggest regrets my freshmen year, thats what happens when you don't read any of the mailing hopkins sends out, oh well

does anyone know anything about habitat for humanity pre-O program? how many people usually particiate? is it worth it?

You all should access the Class of 2010 Message Board as there is some useful information about the Pre-O trips (including the Habitat for Humanity program) in the Orientation and Move-In thread. Also, a number of current students who participated in Pre-O trips post on there so you can get a ton of information. (Private message me with your full name if you don't have the web address for the boards!)

Many students who did not attend pre-o programs echo what "spe07" says - that they really missed out on a great opportunity.

RSVP quickly because many of the programs fill up fast!

i read the thread in the message board about pre-o trips, but i couldn't get any detailed info on it nor way to register. with other pre-o trip's deadline approaching, i'm just wondering where i can find more info on the habitat for humanity program.

I am not sure why the Pre-O office does not print much information on the Habitat program. You should contact their office directly at:
