Johns Hopkins & SAT II

I really want to go to John Hopkins, and I probably won't get accepted lol. But recently I was on its website to try to gain information on admissions, then I noticed something. They strongly recommend that one should take up to three SAT II Subject Tests. I was like: O.O I decided to take Biology E and Biology M, Mathematics Level 1 or Level 2 (I'm not in Pre-Calculus yet so I'm not sure), and possibly Chemistry.

My questions: When should one take the SAT II test? Also is Biology E and Biology M are two different test? Lastly; Should I take the AP class first then the subject test?

It’s better if you take a range of subjects, now just all math and science. Throw in English/History/Language instead of two Bios.

I was going to do something like that, but I’m not that far in a language also, I’m not really good in History, I mean I got an A last semester but I’m not that interested enough. It’ll just be boring.

College board recommends you take the Subject tests while you’re taking the AP courses, since they cover similar material.
Also, I don’t know what the official stance is on test variety, but if I knew I weren’t going to do well on a certain test (that isn’t really required) no matter how much I studied, I
wouldn’t take it.

Alright. So most likely I’ll take the Biology E/M test and the Mathematics Level 1 or 2 Junior year, because I’ll be taking AP Biology and Pre-Calculus. Lastly, I’ll take the Chemistry subject test senior year, because I’ll most likely take AP Chemistry.
