I joined your facebook group. I will go to Hopkins Summer University for 2010 summer and will be studying molecular biology and Calculus (I think AB).

Will the school approve this as an AP course for credit?

Yea i think that you get the college credit for the 2 classes you take

My sis went there and took Biochem and some writing class. Her roomate was crazy.

I attended the Pre-College Summer Program last year. I was a commuter student and took the Intro. to Biological Molecules class. It was a good fit for me, but people who took AP Biology/Chemistry thought it was pretty easy. I know people who took the Intro. to Neuroscience class, which is supposed to be much harder. The students who attend the program are definitely intelligent and ambitious, so you won’t be disappointed with the academic rigor for sure (not to mention the extra college credit).

xCandice, my son Noah took the Intro to Neuro with Hendry and the Biocules last summer. Were you in the first or second term? He is starting as a sophmore at a state u and will be bouncing back and forth in the summers to Hopkins and Washington U for the Neuroscience.
He has a lot of flexibility with his schedule because he is in the honors program so non-matriculated student status is open as well.
