Hi all. I did not see a fall 2014 transfer thread on here so I thought I would start it. I am guessing we just don't have too many prospective JHU transfers on College Confidential this year?

Anyways, as you all know, transfer decisions for fall 2014 will be released "on or earlier" than May 5, and the status of your financial aid documents can be checked beginning April 4.

Maybe we could all post our stats? I will start.

Other: In my application I also listed down how I was in varsity lacrosse in high school as a long stick midfielder, I was active in theater and competed in Virginia High School League Theater Fest and the Virginia Theater Association competitions. I also mentioned how I was an active volunteer at my local family shelter where I set up game nights for the kids.
Comments: I am honestly not expecting an acceptance because I think my stats are pretty average compared to what JHU is looking for, but nonetheless I shall remain optimistic!

3.96 at UCLA with rigorous curriculum, 2240 SAT, 800 SATs, and some ECs with specific academic reasons for transfer. I hope Johns Hopkins would appreciate my potential.

I see lot of applicants applying for pre-med majors. Does that mean majority applicants would be focused on pre-med majors in Johns Hopkins?

@injustice I think fabulous pre-med program is the major reason why people choose Hopkins haha. Your stats look great. I don’t understand why Cornell rejected you. I haven’t heard from Cornell yet.
