<p>It amuses me when kids do this. When I was in school, they wouldn’t tell me my grades until I had, you know, taken the tests and done the assignments and stuff.</p>
<p>But, seriously, I regret to say I agree that the mismatch between your standardized test scores and your GPA will reduce your chances at elite colleges and universities–not reduce them to zero, but reduce them nevertheless. Write that essay about your GPA very well, and hope for the best. But it’s also a good idea to look for some other colleges and universities that live in the space between JHU and OU.</p>
