Johns Hopkins University vs Oklahoma University

<p>To major in biomedical engineering at OU, you’d have to major in ChE, ME, or IE with a track or option in biosciences. Also, the medical campus is in Oklahoma City, some 20 miles away from the main campus. </p>

<p>Consider U Minnesota, which has a strong bioengineering program and is one of the less expensive public flagships for out-of-state students. UMN has strong health sciences programs as well. Minneapolis also is the home of several companies that make biomedical devices, so it offers some advantages for internships and hiring.</p>
