Hey everyone, I remember seeing a similar post a while back but can no longer find it.

I wanted to ask past high school graduates to write a short summary of whether they were accepted or not into this university (JHU) and regardless of their answer, I want to know what their general stats are. Finally, I would appreciate any information on applying EA for JHU and whether it is worth it.

At least for me, such information would be far more beneficial to the college application process than asking strangers to give me a yes or no answer on a "What are my chances" thread. Hopefully, I will be able to better gauge my chances this way.

I was rejected this year. I applied Regular Decision and wanted to major in Biomedical Engineering.
GPA: 3.93 unweighted
Rank: 27/560 (Top 5%)
SAT: 2260
ACT: 34
PSAT: 223
I have taken 9 AP courses between junior and senior years, including both Physics Cs, Biology, and Calculus BC.
ECs: Multiple leadership positions in the community, mostly regarding community service. I also played soccer throughout school and am officer of several clubs (Key Club, Spanish NHS, Tutor Center, etc.).
I believe my recommendations were all good, although I don’t think any were amazing or stand-out in any way, as I am very well-rounded but not fantastic in any one respect.
My essays were well-crafted, but could have been better, but I was satisfied with them in the end.
I am Hispanic.

I’m not too upset about this, as I was accepted to Cornell and Northwestern, two of my top choices.
Hope this helped! And good luck should you choose to apply to JHU!
