Johns Hopkins vs. Rice vs. UPenn

Hello everyone! I’m a junior in high school, and I was wondering which of these schools would be best for me. I plan on majoring in biology and continuing onto med school, but I’m also interested in undergraduate research opportunities, studying abroad in France, and participating on a parliamentary debate team. I also want a school that isn’t extremely intense (i.e. students work hard, but also know how to relax and have fun).

Also let me know if there is anything I need to look out for when I’m visiting these schools this spring.

Thanks!

upenn is called the social ivy and rice is in texas so its probably not as stressful and i heard johns hopkins has a very good premed program but it is extremely tough with grade deflation and a work hard no play attitude. johns hopkins has an amazing medical school though and upenn is also very good. rice does not have a medical school but they have a baylor scholars program, which is a great value since baylor med school is a top 20 med school for only 20k a year!
