JOIN THE I.N.A.D. Club!

Welcome to the "I'm Not an Academic Demigod" club!

I just wanted to start this thread for all those future/current/ex- high school students who've had sub-par CC GPAs. I'm talking like 3.4-3.6. Feel free to join if you're lower or a bit higher!

So my friends and I joke around during study hall and created a club called the "I'M NOT AN ACADEMIC DEMIGOD" Club, which we so affectionately call "the club." We exclude our 4.0 friends (of course they know we're just messing with them :) ) and act as if we're super SPIFFY (not really). Some of my friends blame it on a band teacher who is hell-bent on damning their GPA. Others blame it on an unfavorable house-hold or way too many activities/sports outside of school. Personally, I was in India for 2 years and that screwed with my GPA. ANYWAY we all have our reasons, some viable, some not so much.

I started this thread because I always felt gloomy when I look at other people's amazing stats. I've also felt that there are other people on CC too who are just afraid to put their scores up because of embarrassment. Worry not! There are many of us on the same boat. Whenever you look at decision threads, you see so many acceptances with such high GPAs that it drowns out all the other hard-working kids with less-scintillating GPAs.

Can all the ex-high school students tell us their GPAs and what colleges they got into/attending. Also current high schoolers in THE CLUB should post where they plan on applying or hope to get into. Also feel free to vent any feelings (I know I have to!) because we're all there for each other, right? RIGHT!?

It’s glad to see your using your time wisely. :)

HAH! You’re right. I’m supposed to be finishing a french compostion right now…■■■

Plenty of hooked kids have gotten into top schools with that GPA.

Btw, I think it was you who started that Gifted-at-Risk thread yesterday. Lol, you need to calm down and look at college admissions from a more positive perspective. :)

I was kicked out of the non-CCers club :[

^We still invited you to join our group though!
