Joining a Fraternity at UVA as a minority

Im not sure if this is the correct place to write this post, but I am interested in joining greek life at UVA. I was looking at the various Greek Organizations websites and noticed that basically all of the members were white, some had sparse diversity of black people, but in general they were basically all white. I am indian (asian) and I was wondering if a current student could comment on what options I have if I wanted to join Greek life. I know there is a Lambda Phi chapter at UVA, but I was wondering if there were like non-culturally exclusive fraternities that actually take indian people.

Inb4 criticism of the greek system, I know in recent months there has been heavy scrutiny about UVA’s greek culture and some of it may be warranted, but there are benefits from joining a fraternity that interest me greatly. Particularly, the networking opportunities are really good and give you a leg up on people who dont have those opportunities.

My son belongs to a fraternity at UVA. I know that at least several of the kids are South Asian. Not sure of the exact number. I have seen enough informal interaction to know that nobody cares about their ethnicity. I would say that in general my son’s experience has been that his friend group is very multi-racial/ethnic. . It seems to be an inclusive place. Just one person’s observation, but I’d be surprised if you had trouble finding a home at a fraternity with guys you feel good about calling brother.

Thanks @appzilla
