I'm extremely interested in Vagelos LSM joint-degree program between Wharton and CAS (i think). I'm just wondering if I'm EDing UPenn, can I ED at Vagelos LSM at the same time, or do I have to wait for the regular decision to be considered for Vagelos LSM?

Also, is the Vagelos LSM acceptance rate alot lower than the CAS acceptance rate?

yes, you can apply to lsm ed

Here’s what you will do. If Vagelos LSM is your top choice, then you will apply to that early. They then ask if you would like to ED to Wharton or CAS if you don’t get it. You pick either Wharton, CAS, or none. If you don’t get into Vagelos LSM ED, then you are automatically in the pool for your second choice.

Yes, the acceptance rate is lower.

They’ve only released approximate statistics in the past, but LSM admits about 35 applicants from a pool of 200+; so the acceptance rate isn’t necessarily lower (especially not lower than Wharton’s). However, keep in mind that the applicant pool for joint degree programs is always self-selective.
