Joint MBA and PhD in Computer Science?

<p>Hello,</p>

<p>I came across several articles that state many top universities are offering joint degrees in MBA and PhD. I did some background research and found majority of these programs on offer is a combination of MBA and Doctorate in law or MBA and Doctorate in Biomedical Sciences. Can someone please inform me whether any schools offer MBA in conjunction with PhD in Computer Sciences? I believe majority of standalone MBA’s require at least 2 years work experience, is this still the case with the joint MBA-PhD Programs? How long does a joint program take to complete?</p>

<p>What on earth would that joint agree get you? It's overkill for any business job and I don't think you need an MBA to manage the consulting side as a prof.</p>

<p>I have known ppl who did this. I don't know of any schools that officially call it a "joint" program but you can apply for the mba while getting your phd in CS at any school that offers both.</p>
