Okay So I'm applying To georgia Tech this year and they require me to send my CBSE marksheets to a private foreign evaluation agency like Josef Silny, so my question is what would translate to a 4.0 GPA, 70 %? ( Remember talking about CBSE here.) Thanks.

Bump please asap.

What’re your grades like? Even your CBSE marksheet mentions grades on it!

I had a few b1’s (8/10) and a couple of A2’s (9/10) so what would that be around taking everything into account.

A = 4.00 grade points
A- = 3.70 grade points
B+ = 3.33 grade points
B = 3.00 grade points
B- = 2.70 grade points
C+ = 2.30 grade points
C = 2.00 grade points
C- = 1.70 grade points
D+ = 1.30 grade points
D = 1.00 grade points
D- = 0.70 grade points
^^ thats how it goes i think :S

Haha, I’m sure that’s true, but that’s for the students who did high school from the US, but Indian grades are graded differently. So I wanted to know from someone who has already used silny.

BUMP Anyonee?

Convert Percentage to GPA - Method 1 (India)

Calculating GPA from percentage is very simple. US GPA is 4 point scale. Indian percentage is for 100% which is nothing but 100 points. So, 25 points in percentage is equivalent to 1 point in GPA System.

Just divide your percentage by 100 and multiply by 4. If your percentage is 75, then (75/100)*4 = 3.

Thanks, Is Josef Silny and WES pretty closely related in how they work?

I have heard about WES from older Posters, Class of 2014,2015ers, here on CC but not about Josef Sliny.
