I was wondering if anyone has gone through the journalism program at NYU. How is it, and how is job placement after graduation?
Also, how does NYU's journalism program compare to other journalism schools such as University of Missouri?

Someone asked about the journalism program at NYU and how it compares to another school. The bottom line is that NYU has one of the best journalism schools and is in the city where all the internships and jobs will be available to you (LOCATION is SO important). NYU is a great school already, but it’s journalism/media program is even better than the prestige of the school itself. Basically, if you graduate with a degree in journalism from NYU, you will have a lot of really good job offering, especially in NYC (which is where all the best journalism jobs are anyway).

NYU’s journalism program is far better than the journalism school at University of Missouri and a bunch of others. If you have the chance, go to NYU for journalism, especially if you’re interested in the media aspect of journalism. btw, are you interested in the media aspect?

@ak1991 i’m wondering a similar thing.
also, what exactly do you mean by the “media aspect of journalism”?

can you check this thread out if you have a chance!? THANKS!

Oh you already got in!! Congratulations!! SO it seems like you’re interested in journalism and Broadway. COol! I have a few friends who are also interested in journalism and acting/Broadway and one of them actually takes a dramatic literature and dramatic writing at NYU. She tells me that she loves it.

@ak1991 yes those are the two i am interested in!
really? by any chance do you know what dramatic literature/writing course she takes?!
thanks!!!
i hope those majors make sense together (journalism and dramatic literature)

i think she takes dramatic writing in at CAS.

Yeah I’m sure they’ll make sense together.
